About the project
Participants are invited to place social labels on a fabric body. The action makes visible the words we inherit, accept, resist, or impose on one another. As the surface accumulates language, identity emerges as a collective and contested process.
Selected 2025 activations took place at the Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts in Miami and the Allentown Art Museum in Pennsylvania, in collaboration with El Patio de Mi Casa Artist Residency. The participatory work continues through its objects, photographs, and the exchanges it makes possible.
